+The rooms and location are great and generally a lovely place to stay.
−The staff come across quite rude particularly in the mornings and they fail to smile or make you feel welcomed. Staff attitude needs serious improvements. Perhaps they need more training on friendliness and how to be more welcoming.

“Throck”
+Everything is fine, the location, the rooms and how comfortable and quite it is. I enjoy staying here.
−I really don't like the way staff have been treating me. Checking in they got me mistaken with someone completely different despite spelling my name and showing the confirmation email. In the mornings the staff come across quite hostile and unfriendly, they fail to smile and make you feel very unwelcome. Staff attitude needs serious improvement and training, particularly regarding how they come across, perceived and how to make guests feel welcomed and comfortable. At first I thought it is just the lower tier staff but the manager also seemed the same so I suggest they start from the top.

“Lots of interesting things in the area - I think Warwick Castle was the star of the show”
+Room was big - we had a family room for two of us - food was good, except I think there could have been a bit more breakfast choice for those not wanting cooked breakfast, perhaps a few nuts etc!! We did eat in on a couple of evenings, menu was good, and so was the food - Thank you!
−The big double bed was comfortable - but seemed to have a funny mattress topper, which managed to bulge up and form a roll every night - ( we were with you for six nights)!!! fortunately the roll was soft!

+The room was so comfortable and quiet. Loved the large bed with fantastic bedding and the lighting with convenient switches/remote re fan on ceiling too - which we didn't need. The pub itself looked good with comfy chairs when we went down for our cooked breakfast, which we really enjoyed. There's also a terraced area at the back of the pub with great views. Although off a fairly busy road in the daytime this was not the case - even on Saturday night when we stayed.

+I liked my room with dual aspect views. The bed was extremely comfortable and large.

“A pretty comfortable stay”
+The staff were all very friendly! Good selection of teas, coffees and biscuits available in the room. The room was a good size and the location was very pretty! The shower worked well and the room was relatively clean.
−Breakfast was okay. We had full English and the tomato wasn't really cooked very well and my hash browns were stuck together. However they did have a good selection of yoghurts and cereal boxes available. There was also a very bright spotlight outside our window which made it a bit difficult to sleep.

“Excellent location for a short break.”
+The free parking and the good quality breakfast. The room was also clean and the bed comfortable
−The noise from the nearby road. The room was in expensive but the downside was that it was very small.
