“A fusion of traditional Sri Lankan hospitality and 5 star luxury”
+The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure our stay was special. The hotel is close to the temple and a great historical area but had the luxury of a new building with a high quality finish and superb hygiene. I I’ll definitely stay again. Thank you 🙏
−There was no bar due to it being on holy ground, but that wasn’t a negative as there were so many places nearby to explore.

“Centrale locatie en goed hotel”
+Goed hotel op een boogscheut van Sri Dalada Maligawa (Tempel van de tand). Propere kamer, niet super groot maar voldoende voor ons. Personeel was super behulpzaam en zorgde voor een ontbijtpakket wanneer we vroeg moesten vertrekken naar de volgende bestemming!
−We sliepen naast een gezin met een baby en konden we wel horen, maar daar stoorden wij ons niet aan.

+First class hotel with all modern facilities. All the staff were super helpful. Breakfast was ample with egg and hopper stations. Bed was comfortable. Very chic boutique hotel.
−There was parking. There was no bar! Allegedly the hotel is in the temple area and alcohol is forbidden.

“Centrally located and very comfortable”
+Centrally located just 2 minutes from the Temple of the Tooth and Kandy Lake. Rooms are extremely comfortable. Hotel is being extended and refurbished so the gym and pool are new. Staff are excellent.
“Hervorragendes Hotel mitten im Stadtzentrum!”
+Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein, 2 Minuten zu Fuß ist man am Zahntempel. Das Hotel hat einen sehr schönen Styl und das Frühstück ist mit frischen Säften, Pancakes und Eierspeisen hervorragend. Die Zimmer haben alles was man braucht sogar ein Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett stehen im Zimmer zur Verfügung. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist nach einem langen Tag in der Stadt sehr erfrischend.

“A sanctuary in the centre of Kandy where there is so much to enjoy.”
+A very warm welcome by the staff both at the first step inside to the cool drink and the chocolate and drink surprises in the fridge. So close to all the shopping and tourist attractions. Breakfast was fresh fruit delights, great coffee, best scrambled eggs in the last 2 months of travelling served by Sameera. At night we enjoyed the most beautiful view at the pool bar. Overall a lovely place to stay Bed very comfortable.

“Oasis in the city”
+Great location and very quiet considering where it is. Not being on a main road by the lake has definitely got advantages. Very comfortable beds, pool is a lovely oasis in the city and a few of our group had spa services which they enjoyed. Breakfast was very nice. We chose to eat out for dinner 2 nights just to experience the city. The Temple and lake are very close as are many gem shops and it’s easy to access a couple of tea factories. Reception kindly organised our departure van to Colombo. The staff were very helpful . We would recommend this hotel if you want to be in Kandy :)
−It would have been nice to have a cold beer there in the hotel but it is inside the Temple zone and so we totally respected that and found plenty of options nearby :) It’s also a gentle reminder that we probably don’t need to drink !!There are excellent at other options to drink.
