“A very nice hotel but the breakfast concept has to be changed.”
+I still like the hotel. It was my third stay (always 8 nights). The neighborhood is really nice and the hotel is very clean. Comfortabel beds and employees are really friendly. The NYC ferry makes it very easy to go to Wall Steet pier eleven. But a very bad 2026 decision of the management, to change the breakfast concept. Last years you receievd a nice breakfast: eggs, bacon, … toasts..cheese… ham ..fresh fuit..cookies… As you could read in the reviews, the breakfast room was indeed not a perfect one but the breakfast and the friendly employees made the breakfast a nice one! This year you only reveive a bag ! With a sandwich inside in paper..absolutely not tasty. We took the bag and we put most things in te community fridge of the street and went for breakfast to other places. I really hope that the management takes into account the remarks of a lot of reviews and that the lodge red hook hotel offers again the breakfast of the past as it is not nice (and costly) that you have to go outside for breakfast. Employees told me that it is a budget problem. If needed ask a few USD more!

“Enttäuschender Aufenthalt - Frühstück, Zimmerreinigung und Sicherheit”
+Das Personal am Empfang ist sehr freundlich.
−Ich war ich mit meinem Aufenthalt im The Lodge Red Hook nicht zufrieden. Frühstück: Auf Booking.com wird das Frühstück anhand von Bildern als Buffet dargestellt. Tatsächlich gab es jedoch kein Frühstücksbuffet, sondern lediglich eine Frühstückstüte mit abgepackten Produkten. Dazu kamen schlechter Kaffee und Leitungswasser. Das tatsächliche Angebot entsprach überhaupt nicht meinen Erwartungen aufgrund der Darstellung auf der Buchungsseite. Ärgerlich ist, das ich das Frühstück vor diesem Hintergrund eines ordentlichen Frühstücks hinzugebucht habe. Zimmerreinigung: Obwohl kein Schild an der Tür hing, das die Reinigung untersagte, wurde das Zimmer an einem Tag nicht gereinigt. Wir bekamen Handtücher in die Hand gedrückt mit dem Hinweis, dass niemand mehr zum Reinigen anwesend ist. Sicherheit: Die Zimmertür 403 ließ sich nur sehr schlecht schließen und wies an der Seite deutliche Spalten auf. Dadurch hatte ich Zweifel, ob die Tür ausreichend Schutz und Sicherheit gewährleistet. Insgesamt wurden meine Erwartungen an das Hotel nicht erfüllt. −Location was not the greatest. You should put a cover on the mattress. I could feel the springs and I am not a heavy person. That would have made the bed more comfortable

−L’insonorisation, la porte de notre chambre laisser passer beaucoup de lumière et le bruit. Le petit déjeuner n’est vraiment pas terrible.
