−The rooms are too small
−Very disappointing experience - not what I expected from The Hoxton. I am currently two days into a 15-day stay at The Hoxton Williamsburg, and unfortunately, my experience so far has been extremely disappointing. There is no proper table or desk in the room, and the Wi-Fi is very spotty and unreliable. The lobby is constantly overcrowded with people working on their laptops, many of whom do not even appear to be consuming anything. As a paying hotel guest, it is frustrating not to have a comfortable space to sit or relax. To make matters worse, I was told I could not eat food ordered from outside in the lobby. With no proper table in the room either, where exactly are guests supposed to eat? The rooftop is also disappointing, as you cannot really enjoy the views despite the hotel’s great location. On top of that, the hot water suddenly stopped while I was taking a shower, forcing me to step out and wait. The following day, housekeeping forgot to replace my towels and left a used cup unwashed in the bathroom.

“Stylish place in a fun area.”
+Very nice hotel at a great location. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The property has multiple restaurants and coffee and pastries for purchase in the morning. I enjoyed the Bluetooth speaker in the room. Bathroom is relatively spacious and had good water pressure.
−It would have been nice to have waterbottles in the room. The room is fairly small, but fine if you're out and about most of the time.

“Great hotel, perfect location”
+We loved this hotel! The cafe/bar in the lobby was really great, it gave us somewhere other than our room to relax.

+The location was perfect for our purposes-- close to my son and the East River. The river walk is gorgeous and I love that we could walk to the ferry to Manhattan! Modern decor, clean and comfortable room and vibrant lobby and restaurant area. Fun to see so many people working and meeting up in the Cafe area. I look forward to coming back!
−The shower was a little complicated to figure out which handle did what, haha. Instructions maybe would be helpful?

+Location was excellent.
−Unfortunately there wasn’t a lot to love IMO. The rooms were fine, the lack of mini bar is understandable but then the inability to get anything to the room like ice was a nightmare. Service was very inattentive and the food across the venue was far too niche.
