“Staff are rude. Definitely not what I expected. Never again.”
+I booked 2 junior suites and I liked the space, the bed was comfortable and i like the seating area with the mirror.
−We arrived when i was raining and i wanted to use the valet service. After having to double park at the front and waiting 5 minutes for someone to appear i ended up having to call and find out where the staff were? We then continued to wait for no one to come so i had to run into the hotel and find the staff. they told me just to leave my car doubled parked, I asked if we would please get some assistance with our luggage as it was raining and we had multiple suitcases, dresses and coats on hangers. This seemed to be a confusing request and took some extended convincing and explaining to actually get the help. Check we were met with a very rude young women that clearly didn't want to be there. check in was extremely slow and frustrating. getting our luggage brought up to our room was also extremely slow and one person had to go and retrieve a suitcase that was needed. we had a booking for the theatre for 6pm and when check in is 3pm and took an hour to just get from our car to our room with our luggage is beyond ridiculous. check out with valet was a terrible experience and the reason i will not return. the young man that handed me my car keys was rude and lazy. i asked if he was ab

“A beautiful, historic hotel in a great location, let down by unfriendly staff and a noisy room.”
+The building has a great vibe, loads of history and a fantastic location. Our room was big, spacious and comfy, and the bathroom was clean and modern.
−The staff were unfriendly and indifferent, and the reception team couldn’t help when we were charged $86 by Wilson Parking despite already paying $80 for valet, so we spent hours sorting it out ourselves. The bellboy said he’d take our bags up when we arrived early, but never did and never told us, and he later helped the guest behind us in line first while ignoring us. The floors were also extremely squeaky, so we heard every footstep and noise from the room above, and it was hard to sleep.

−Shower over the bath is a little dangerous for older guests. On Sunday we had room service for dinner as restaurant not open and there was heavy rain so our options were limited.
