“Cost place to stay to explore Ely.”
+The staff were helpful & friendly. The room was cosy & met our needs. The restaurant had an extensive menu & a carvery. The location was ideal for exploring Ely.
−We managed to park on the very small car park. However, at busier times this wouldn’t have been possible & the adjoining car park had a limit of 3 hours!

+It a very nice pub just 5 min walk from the centre and the cathedral. the rooms are excellent as well as all the staff. We had lunch there and the food was excellent and believe me I don't say that lightly we had the roast in a hole and it was one of the best roasts I have tasted in a pub. the bathrooms are a good size and they leave you enough shampoo and soap for two people.
−The only down side I can give it is the parking is very small. we did get a place but when it's busy I think it would be difficult to park. there are plenty of free parkings in Ely but I am not sure if you can leave the car overnight in one of those.

“Solo female middle age traveler”
+Tim the assistant manager was so accommodating even taking my suitcase up to my room and showing me to the door of my room . When i wished to eat he escorted me to the restaurant . He's very kind very polite and extremely polished . He's a great asset to this company .
−Only picking here but no bath just a walk in shower .

“Helpful staff & good location, but lumpy bed and no breakfast avaialble very poor”
+The staff were very helpful at check in and carried our bags to the room. Hotel very convenient for the Cathedral, just a 10/15 minute walk. Parking was easy and good.
−Bed too soft and lumpy, and pillows also lumpy. No proper seat in the room, no radiator in the bathroom, no view from window, no breakfast available?

+Nothing it's a dump, broken hairdryer, table leg falling off. Linen is like something from the past all lumpy. Towels frayed I've never seen soap that size since I was at school
