+Friendly staff and a cosy environment.
−The double bed was two single beds pushed together.
“Our stay was comfortable and we were welcomed and looked after from start to finish”
+Excellent location, car parking free onsite, helpful friendly staff, food excellent value for money
−There was nothing to really dislike. Maybe a bit dated and in need of some TLC in places but none of this detracted from our stay

“Excellent location and friendly service, the room needs updating”
+The location of The Grove is excellent, easily accessible, and provides ample parking, which was particularly convenient during our autumn stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, though notably overstretched during the evening service, with a single gentleman responsible for managing both the bar and the restaurant. While the accommodation was comfortable, the room itself was below standard regarding cleanliness and maintenance, requiring far more than cosmetic updates. The radiator was heavily accumulated with dust and lint, the white net curtain exhibited signs of mould and required laundering, and one of the bedside lamps was non-functional. Furthermore, the bathtub was stained and poorly cleaned. Although the stay was generally comfortable, the property requires significant attention to its housekeeping and upkeep.
