“One night in Shanklin”
+Easy check in. Friendly staff. Nice modern bar with lots of seating and happy hour 5-7. Lots of choice for continental breakfast, quality ingredients with menu choice for hot breakfast. Ample parking.
−Although we had a double room only one side of the bed had sockets and side table. The paint on walls could do with a touch up here. No bottled water in the room. Other than that the room was perfect.

+There wasn’t anything not to like. The staff were so friendly, Lucas was exceptionally helpful.

“Great place to tour the Isle of Wight.”
+Lovely clean hotel. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was nice and spacious. We had a view of the church across the street.
−We stayed during a heatwave and unfortunately like most UK hotels no aircon. However there was a fan.

−No one was on reception when entering the hotel we had to ring for service which ok fair enough but nothing was locked all doors were open anyone could of walked in and gone in the lifts to any floor which was a little scary, also no air con only a fan and the room was very hot 🥵 but overall it was a very pleasant stay plus we were there only 1 night maybe longer we would of definitely needed air con…

+Beautiful hotel in a lovely quiet area. Hotel itself was quiet with no real noise. Very well kept and beautifully decorated. The entire hotel was so clean even in areas that are usually missed like stairwells. The smell in the hotel was lovely and fresh. An absolute delight to walk into. Rooms were beautifully furnished including fans for these warmer months. Breakfast was fabulous, plentiful and great value for money and the staff were happy, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable of the area and always happy to help. We also enjoyed ending our days with a nice cold drink from the well stocked bar which was not extortionately priced. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We will be back!
