“Lovely stay”
+Lovely room, clean and comfortable. All you could need with the hospitality tray. Fresh milk and mini bottle of prosecco in the fridge was a lovely touch. Evening meaning the restaurant was very good. Enjoyed breakfast and good choice. Would definitely stay again.
−The floor of the shower was a slatted wooden base. It felt a bit wobbly and may not be great for someone unsteady on their feet. Apart from that nothing negative to say.

+The rooms were lovely with everything you could need, comfy bed, nice and clean. Staff all very friendly, breakfast delicious : )

“Excellent venue, friendly pub, great food, lovely helpful & clever staff!”
+8 friends who meet up once a year chose the Denton Hermit this year and it was a good choice. The staff were extremely efficient, friendly & happy to help with any query. The menus were excellent, a little different but all the food was tasty & plentiful. Our beds were comfortable with nice linen, bathrooms were ok, maybe some showers were a little bit of a squeeze to get into but the wet room in room 6 was excellent, thank you.

“Would love to stay again”

+The manager was lovely and tried to help the situation by phoning local hotels in the area to find rooms for us.
−We arrived at the hotel just after 3pm to check in. We were informed upon arrival that our booking had been cancelled. I did enquire about the cancellation of my booking in November but heard nothing back and had no confirmation about my enquiry. My booking.com account has shown the booking as active through the entire process and as far as I was concerned, the booking was still live. This resulted in us having to find another accommodation on the day at additional cost. The manager stated that he was refunding our payment, but it still has not arrived.

+The room wasn't big, but it's well put together, thoughtfully designed and has everything we needed. And it felt cute. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great choices for breakfast and all delicious.

−Wooden floor in our room was extremely creaky, not good at night if you get up. Quite a long wait for breakfast.
