“Never again”
+I really didn't like anything about my stay there.
−The room was very basic. The beds were not at all comfy, the stairs were hard to get up and it wasn't that clean.

−It was a cold night, there was no heating and no extra blankets, I covered my wife with the towels and I wore my flying jacket in bed. In the morning, my badly needed hot shower was barely luke warm, My wife couldn't shower, it was too cold. Worst part was the lack of taxi cover in the area, we were 5 minutes away by car, but had to call a Taxi to come out from Spalding, it took an hour to reach Gedney, and cost us £35

“Comfortable clean room nice staff”
+Very friendly helpful staff ready to receive us, clean room, good shower, very good value
−Some noise from the road through the town but it went quiet after midnight
+No frills but excellent value for money and a decent local beer served downstairs.

+It was quiet and central to where I needed to be. The staff were really good and friendly.
−I didn’t have a mirror in my room. It was difficult to fill the kettle in the bathroom sink. The shower controls were too high and I had great, great difficulty trying to reach them to turn it on. It was so high I couldn’t read the words on the knots so an instruction sheet and a stool would have been helpful. I had to jump up and try to turn the knob as I jumped. When I got the water flowing it wasn’t clear or easy to adjust the heat because I had to jump up to make adjustments.
+The price was amazing the room was great value for money the staff was about if you needed them and not if you didn't

+Communication was good, i asked to check in late, which was possible. Room was quite big and big bed, had coffee and tea making facilities and the room had a fan, which was very much needed.
−The check in process seemed a bit disorganised but that could be due to the time of check in, which was past 11pm. The room was ok but bathroom coulf have been cleaner. Not sure what was going on with the shower, was impossible to get the right temperature, either cold or too hot so didnt have the best shower. Could not open a window in the room. Noone was there in the morning. Not terrible but definitely has room for improvement.
