“Perfect Visit at the Coach and Horses”
+Bolton-by- Bowland is a beautiful village and the Coach and Horses is just the perfect place to stay. The attention to detail, cleanliness and general care in every aspect of the Coach and Horses is spot on. We had some lovely food during our stay and the breakfast was particularly splendid! Staff wise, everyone was friendly, attentive and caring. Very dog friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful and had some wonderful touches to make your stay like a home from home. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend the Coach and Horses for that lovely, peacful relaxed getaway. At the same time...it would also be a lovely place to nip out for a Sunday Roast/meal if you just wanted a chill and a lovely place to enjoy a quality experience.
−Nothing at all.
“Great relaxed night away.”
+Beautiful location, in comfortable relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous rooms. The food was excellent. Lovely walks nearby
−Carpark a bit small but there was space to park on the road.

+Lovely location set in beautiful surroundings. Hotel has character and staff helpful and friendly. Good deserves it's accolades
−All good.
“Shame that we were placed in a room with an ongoing fault.”
+The setting was lovely and friendly staff
−The room was small and only had a voile curtain separating the bedroom and bathroom meaning nothing was left to the imagination. The design of the shower meant it flooded the bathroom everytime it was used. I mentioned this and was given extra towels etc and told they were getting someone out to look at it. It was explained as a new problem. On my last night I found out from another staff member that this was an ongoing problem - so why was I placed in this room? On departure I was asked to pay for someone else’s stay (human error). I then pointed this out and was again asked if I was a different person. 3rd time lucky they got the correct invoice.

“Perfect stop on our travels”
+Idyllic village setting. Property was lovely. Food was outstanding and service was exemplary
−Headbutting the ceiling beam!
“A gorgeous stay!!”
+We loved the decor and attention to detail at the property. Everything was renovated to such a high standard and was impeccably clean. Staff were very helpful and kind. Location was quiet and quaint, we visited as guests to a local wedding so was ideal for us and has good access to plenty of walks and to other villages and towns. We were also very impressed with the food (90% of it homemade) not just breakfast selection and quality but homemade biscuits in the room and one of the best beef roast dinners we have ever eaten!! We had the smallest room available and must admit that it was gorgeous, well thought out with plenty of storage and perfect for a short stay.
−Whilst we were so impressed and loved the Coach and Horses we did pay a high cost for the venue - something we couldn’t do often at all, although we would love to stay again! We were placed in the smallest guest room (Double) which unfortunately is situated above the kitchen area and ventilation and was extremely hot even with windows open and use of fan. A better quality fan would make a difference we feel.

“Beautiful Pub with a fantastic restaurant”
+Excellent quick stay and we loved it all
−Slight noise of cars.. but most people would not be worried… I am a light sleeper .
“Visit, you won’t be disappointed. We shall return for sure.”
+This is a fabulous old coaching inn, brought to high modern standards in the most clever and tasteful way, and to a very high spec. Everything about this place is right.
−Nothing!

“Lovely !”
+Lovely village. We were lucky to be able to join in watching the world cup football in the village hall and to see the village spruced up for the garden walk-about. Lovely, interesting, immaculate church. Great post office/shop. Would visit again and recommend. Hotel great asset to village.Thank you.
−Noise of extractor fans outside our window.
“Fantastic old pub with great restaurant and bar area.”
+Great location, lovely building and attentive staff. EV charger was very useful. Coffee pod machine very welcome. Bar area was lovely
−Room “Blue” was very warm and ventilation not great. Room is opposite the kitchen ventilation system, the noise wasn’t too bad but it may bother some
