+The location of the hotel was very good. The food, both evening meal and breakfast ,was very good, particularly the breakfast .
−The hotel was a bit tired in places, and some drinks ordered were not available.

+Love this hotel. Return again and again. Perfect location and super dog friendly.
−When new owners came in there was some confusion about how to get breakfast (in the dog friendly area) and in the evening not all the wine list was available - think this was just teething problems though.

“Good Old Fashioned Hotel”
+Upon arrival we were greeted by the impressionable, competent and welcoming Charissa. Our check in was quick, and within minutes, we were shown our slightly dated, but large comfortable room. We had also booked the breakfast and evening meal (offered during the booking process) which is advised. Breakfast was plentiful, with most common options that are available throughout most British hotels (cereal, fruit, toast, juices, yogurt and cooked options too) The evening meal is chosen from a small but varied and adequate menu. While ours was included with our booking, I have to say the prices for walk in customers or guests who hadn't included the meal with their booking, were competitive with local pubs and restaurants around Beaumaris. On top of that was the pleasure of being served by the warm, lovely staff of The Bulkeley Hotel ! I must also mention the eclectic decoration of furniture and antiques, that add to the ambience of this wonderful, and occasionally quirky hotel.
−Breakfast served a little slow, but understandable during the busy time. Tables outside, perhaps could be cleared quicker, to prevent the seagulls gathering! After having one bottle of our favourite Sauveghan Blanc, it was disappointing that they ran out during our stay. Carpark busy !

+Staff were exceptional ( Linda & Julia) Really traditional hotel ( feels like you are in an Agatha Christie drama) but everything worked and was clean - I was travelling with my dog and the staff went out their way to accommodate us - I did not eat dinner in the hotel but breakfast was excellent - Overall wonderful value and a really charming place - would use again
−Be aware their is limited parking - The car park was full when I arrived - I managed to park on the street but this could be a struggle in the summer months

+Excellent location 2 min walk to the castle 1 min to the beach really nice place beautiful in fact, the hotel itself was nice the rooms were clean and the bed was really comfy, the restaurant was excellent we had breakfast every day and the evening meals we could not fault they were also excellent well presented and beautifully cooked.
