2.0“Horror movie hotel”
+It has potential.
−The whole place needs a makeover and serious room updates. Felt like a horror movie setting.

5.0“It worked well for what we came for, the game.”
+WE booked it because it was close to Folsom Field and we were walking to, and from the football game. The hotel had nice appeal and was clean. Staff friendly.
−Not one , but both elevators were out of service, and we were staying on an upper floor. The shower/tub took a very long time to drain. You had to either turn the water off and on as you were showering, or be ankle deep in water for a real quick shower.

3.0“We stayed one night, and booked another hotel the following morning.”
+Great location in proximity to campus.
−The rooms were dirty. Hair in the sheets, pillows & sheets were stained, musty smell, old food in the fridge, etc..
“Good place to stay in Boulder during homecoming weekend”
+Convenient location
−A bit dated

1.0+The pictures were deceiving.
−Our bed had blood and white stains on the sheets when we arrived. The carpets and bathroom looked dated and dirty.

5.0+I was disappointed in the appearance of the hotel I grew up in Boulder and this used to be an upscale hotel it is now very rundown. No longer has a restaurant for dinner. We used to love the Broker dinner restaurant.
“This hotel has clearly seen better days.”
+Location was fine except for proximity to a freeway. It seems to have some history, which was interesting. The wifi worked. The bed was adequate though nothing to write home about. Front desk folks (the only staff we interacted with) were courteous and did the best they could with the little the hotel has to offer.
−This is a BARE BONES hotel. The only amenities are coffee in the former coffee bar, free wifi, and a pool next to the highway. No coffee in the room, no information sheet, no breakfast, no frills of any sort. (There were TV, microwave, barely adequate refrigerator, and hair dryer, but those aren't really frills). First room they offered us smelled like vomit and the second one merely smelled funky. Bad smells everywhere, in fact. They called it a "king room" but it had only one full-size bed. Bare, empty room in the hall where presumably an ice machine used to be. I could go on. . . definitely a "Shining" vibe. Might not have felt quite so bad if we hadn't paid almost $500 for two nights. In fairness, I did meet a couple of guests who liked the place fine; to each his own I guess. But buyer beware!
+Very expensive vs the quality.
+The hotel was fine for the reasonable price paid.
−The restaurant was not open.
