“Small quaint pub, perfect location. Amazing staff”
+Staff were amazing they couldn’t have helped anymore if they tried. When we asked for an extra items they happily obliged. It would have been handy if we had a fridge in our room the bathroom could do with some fresh sealant although it was very clean. If you over 5’5 you may struggle as this lovely little old pub it as expected (small). However other than a few nit pics experience was enjoyable. Lovely local cafe and 2 minute walk public parking.

“The wonky room”
+The staff were very friendly and helpful with our questions. The wonky room we stayed in had everything that you need for a night stay, toilet, hot shower and double bed with two pillows each. Well presented room and pub, loved the bright orange exterior of the pub. The room had a kettle, with water already in a glass bottle for drinking and tea bags.
−The bathroom needs abit of care, small areas of mould in the shower and the smell of egg for a few minutes after turning on the shower, this might be the drain as the shower tray was filling quickly. The pub is next to a main road and with the widows open during the night we could head the trackers going past and woke us up a few times. As the pub is very old you could hear other guests walking around up stairs, the floors creak alot, but even with this we still really liked the room and our stay, it was quirky and had everything we needed.

+Staff very friendly and went above and beyond when we left our room key at the wedding venue, came down late at night to give us a spare key. Also we’re very happy to accommodate an early check in for us.
