“Accommodations met my expectation for the price. Staff was helpful”
+Accommodations were spacious and comfortable but dated. Having the restaurant gave food options for mid-afternoon and evening and the food was good.
−Bit drafty and lots of creaking from the wind up against the windows.

−This isnt like any hotel I have ever experienced. It is a HMO above an Indian Restaurant/takeaway. Twice we went out and the main door to the HMO, I mean hotel, was on the latch meaning anyone could enter the building. When we arrived the room was FREEZING. No heating on and I thought the window was open but it was just really old and poor condition windows letting the freezing wind blow straight in the room. The communal stairs were freezing and the building generally is in poor condition. Had I known the room was above an Indian restaurant I would never have booked. As someone who loves a good curry it pains me to say the smell through the building and in the room was overpowering and I felt like me and all my clothes stank when I left. I expected much more for the money. Also it says 20% off food and drink but the vital bit of missing information is that there is no breakfast option. Thank goodness for Morrisons Cafe 5 minutes away. If you have any standards or expectations of a decent place to stay avoid this place.

“Good value for money lovely staff”
+Good value for money, quiet considering main road, parking, fridge a plus, good size room with seating, Very friendly staff considering how busy they are running a popular restaurant
−Toilet flush could be simpler, easy handle for instance Shower good, but again could have been easier to understand hot/cold etc, also addition of stick on shelving to hold gels, shampoos etc would be handy

−Room was a little cold. Prefer mug for tea rather than tea cup
+Good value, comfortable room. Mine had a fridge so I was able to look after myself. Useful as there is no breakfast service.
−There is limited staff service. It's only a 30 minute walk to the city centre. Buses to the city centre are over-priced at £3.35, when a cab is under £9.
