“Disappointed.”
+Had a nice outside patio attached to the unit. Appreciated the kitchen space and full size refrigerator.
−Wasn't clean. The unit was not cleaned well. There was a lot of hair, the surfaces of the tables were not clean, there were items left behind in the fridge from previous guests. The beach area was not maintained. Overall not a good value for the money.

“Nice accommodation right in the middle of a lively party area, with plenty to see and enjoy”
+Sunset Beach is a very clean, well equipped and extremely good smelling accommodation located right in the middle of a party zone. You’re sitting in the front row with a great view of fancy boats, hot girls and live music all around you. The cabin is noise protected with good walls so that you hear almost nothing from the outside parties. The place is absolutely recommendable and offers great entertainment.
−The accommodation had a strict no-dog policy, yet they allowed several dogs to stay in the unit directly above us. The dogs were frequently barking and caused considerable noise and disturbance.
+Great spot to stay for Shootout weekend. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and just a short walk to Backwater Jacks. Perfect location. Highly recommend.
+The cabin was so clean and nice! We loved having the water right out the back door and everything was within a reasonable drive to get to from the location

“Fun, relaxing, clean, well managed resort. Highly recommend checking it out!”
+My extended family (over 80 people - infants to 80 yrs old) came to this resort for the first time last week Wed-Sun. We had a blast! The units were very clean, well maintained, and nicely decorated/furnished. Each unit is stocked with basic cooking needs and they had everything we needed. While the units themselves are not brand new, many (if not all) were newly renovated/remodeled and were actually much nicer than expected. The size of this resort was perfect in my opinion (I think there are 15 or 16 units of varying sizes.) It is an excellent venue for any family/friend gathering because you won't be lost in a sea of strangers. The resort is situated on a hillside, so there are quite a few stairs. However, we just booked those who might struggle with the stairs in units nearest to our gathering areas on the lower level. Some family members also brought ATVs (which can be rented in the area.) Those also worked great for those who had difficulty walking the hills, or problems climbing stairs. The management was exceptional! They are on-site and very responsive. “We enjoyed out stay”
+I love the location and the balcony looking out into the water. The cabin itself was nice and cozy.

+we had a great view from our cabin. It was right across from Back Water Jacks. I just wish they had a way to shuttle us over there, so we didn't have to drive. It's just so close a person could almost swim not that i would. A ride over would be great.

+Beautiful scenery and quiet there was a big bar & grill with music every night but inside our cabin (which was directly across from where bands were playing) we couldn’t hear a sound😉 The inside of the cabin was IMMACULATE & BEAUTIFUL, the pool was clean, comfortable, and big enough for the complex. We did go out and about every day for a few hours, and it was close to everything, but were happy when we returned it was so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always happy to see you. We highly recommend this resort and we will be returning on our next trip to the Lake of the Ozarks Thank you for everything Kim and Wayne
