+This hotel was very reasonable for the price. Room very nice, with comfy clean bed, but the bathroom in desperate need of a revamp. Very decent breakfast. But can't really complain for the price.

“Disappointing”
+Lady on reception was lovely the location was perfect for us visiting the leasure complex for a event , breakfast was OK bedding clean
−Ohhhh the bathroom decor was really bad did not use the shower did not want to risk it tiling paper coming off everything just patched up , room really cold everything really worn from flooring to walls taps loose , as only staying 1 night just got on with it but will definitely not be staying again

+Although it doesn't have its own car park there is a large free car park only a few minutes walk away and Chris made sure that I knew about it to avoid charges. The location feels very safe and secure. The hotel is popular with touring cyclists and has a very informal and welcoming. Very handy for the station and just outside the town centre. The property is bigger than you think from the outside and has a good-sized light breakfast area just down from the bar. Pleasant single room with en-suite. Enjoyable evening in the bar (non-alcoholic offering available) and genial host.
−No issues - though mobility-impaired visitors might not like the stairs up to the rooms (this is a Victorian building).
