+Staff was nice.
−It was very dirty. The tub had black in it dirt on floors.
“Surprise charges ruined my stay at an otherwise good hotel.”
+It was dog friendly.
−There was a surprise pet fee that was kept secret until I checked in. It was not even mentioned in the online registration process.
“Better than sleeping in our car, probably”
−We literally were afraid for our lives. There was black mold the the ceiling above the bed and on the caulk in the shower. We bolted the door, slept with the covered pulled down and departed at 6:30am before the “complimentary” breakfast.

+Location, price and the staff and rooms super clean.
−They still need a little cleaning up outside. I know that they working and fixing outside and some rooms but we was 13 people and it was no complain from any of them.

−We did not stay as upon arriving the attendant stated we had NO confirmed reservation. Booking was showing a confirmed. We did go to Sprucewood Inn on Thurs. evening to be denied as not confirmed even with presenting Booking confirmation notice.
+Pool was ok.
−They charged $100 deposit. Has not returned said deposit for a month!
