“Location, rooftop and a good breakfast.”
+We liked the location, it is pretty much in between the promenade and the train station(and as we were doing a few trips outside of Nice, it was perfect) the rooftop area is really nice too, with a pool and hot tub, and great views. Breakfast was really good, with a great selection to choose from and the staff were very nice too.
−The property is dated, our room was fine (a family room with 2 double beds). We had stayed at this hotel 10 years ago, so we knew the location was what we wanted and the rooftop area was nice, we looked at other hotels which were around double the price but didn’t seem to be worth the extra. So although the room was a bit shabby it was cleaned daily. This was a last minute trip so we feel we got value for our money.

“Splendid stay at Hotel Splendid”
+The location is excellent and the outdoor facilities are great to relax after a busy sightseeing day.Very good breakfast and restaurant. The staff are very helpful about everything. Near the train station and tram line. 10 mins walk to the Old Town and shopping. Visited Cannes ,Antibes and Monte Carlo easily by bus and train.

+если Расположение у отеля не удачное, на перекрестке двух шумных улиц, по которым ночью ездит много грузового транспорта и мусоровозы. Звукоизоляция отсутствует, т.к. окна очень старые, сделаны из деревянных рам и обычного стекла (одно стекло). До центра далеко, до набережной примерно 1 км. В начале нам дали номер «Harmony», не пригодный для проживания. Номер не ремонтировался с 80-х годов. Коридоры в отеле не убирают, они пыльные, на 1 этаже валялся мусор, на 5 этаже есть запах канализации. Завтраки и зона отдыха на крыше ок. Два дня из 4-х в отеле не работал wifi.

+Emplacement en plein cétre de Nice proche de la mer tout en étant au calme. Personne très serviable. Chambre confortable et calme. Excellent petit dejeuner avec vue splendide du roof top.

“Great location, clean and comfortable room, amazing breakfast and considerate and helpful staff.”
+The location was perfect for us as we were visiting friends and yet were close to the sea and could walk into Old Nice as well. Breakfast was exceptional and we are so glad we included it with our booking. The rooftop bar and pool were also lovely and all the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We used the Spa for some treatments and the therapists were very professional. We would definitely come back again.
−We could have been told on arrival that the restaurant was going to be closed at some point during our stay due to private functions, but luckily we ate in on our first night and could not fault the food and service. We were though still able to get a drink and some snacks on our last night and again the staff did say that they could see if the restaurant could do more for us if needed. Some more information in the room about the sauna and gym facilities at the hotel might be helpful as we only noticed this on our last night.

+The spa facilities and spa staff were lovely and extremely accommodating.
−We arrived in the evening, and were greeted with two staff that told us our room was not available and they had an alternative hotel for us, the hotel they offered us was a city hotel not a spa hotel. We were not willing to accept however were told there was nothing else they could do. We were left to find our way to that hotel, with no offer of any compensation considering this was a downgrade in hotel; we had treatments booked for the next day and hoped to speak to management (none available again) however the duty manager did try to help with offering us use of the spa facilities before our massages; and said to contact them after to see how they could compensate us for their mistake in not being able to accommodate us. We have done so and not received a reply; left to contact through booking.com and they will not accommodate unless we have receipts of additional expenses? Left bewildered as were extremely loyal customers and left dissatisfied with the outcome.

“Ottima posizione, ma la struttura necessita di restyling”
+Hotel in posizione centralissima, a due passi dalla Promenade. Tutto sommato i servizi sono buoni, anche se la piscina sul rooftop è abbastanza piccola e affollata. La camera è carina, niente di eccezionale, ma comunque confortevole. Nota di merito per il personale: abbiamo avuto un problema con l'auto nel parcheggio dell'hotel e si sono dati da fare in modo molto efficiente per risolverlo: voto 10.
−La colazione è abbastanza varia, ma la qualità dei prodotti è sicuramente da migliorare. La struttura necessita di un restyling. Consiglierei di eliminare la moquette nelle camere: è old style e poco igienica.
