+Lovely accommodation. Nicely decorated. Very clean and welcoming. Good location, especially for visiting Northumberland or the Scottish Borders. The perfect cosy place to stay for a few nights away.

+Lovely tiny suite with bedroom, bathroom and full kitchen (no lounge/settee). Extremely high quality bedding, lovely decor - panelling, beams, stone walls - can really see how old the building is.
−Strange wriggly creature in the shower. No door between kitchen and bedroom so if you're cooking, the bedroom will smell of your food.

+The accommodation was very clean, the bed was comfortable and overall we were pleased with the experience. Although we didn't use it, milk had been left for us in the fridge, and a packet of quality biscuits (which we did use!).. There were cleaning products and kitchen roll under the sink, which was a nice touch you don't always have in other accommodation. Plenty of soft, quality towels were supplied.
−Whilst there were 2 bar stools in the kitchen area, it would have been nice to have some more comfortable seating in which to relax. That said, it is a small apartment, and realistically, there isn't room for additional furniture.
