“Calm and serene Getaway.”
+What we loved: Serenique Resort is a true gem for anyone looking to disconnect. The setting is stunning,completely surrounded by nature and incredibly peaceful. The hospitality was exceptional; the staff were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. We also really enjoyed the food, especially the breakfast, which was a delicious mix of traditional Sri Lankan and European dishes. Location: Excellent! It’s the perfect, quiet base for visiting the main tourist sites around Kandy while still feeling a world away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended for a calm and serene getaway.

+Très bonne localisation au calme pour visiter Kandy et sa région. Chambres confortables, environnement calme et piscine agréable. Personnel très serviable et attentionné. Choix varié possible pour le petit déjeuner de bonne qualité. Options pour dîner sur place égalepent très plaisantes. Destination et lieu recommandés.

“Challenging Location, Poor Management and Safty Concerns”

−Locating this hotel was extremely difficult, especially at night. It took us hours to locate it, and we had to make multiple phone calls to receive proper directions. The hotel is situated on a hill, and the access road is in very poor condition,unsealed, bumpy, and challenging to navigate. We were driving a small car, and it was quite a struggle to manage the mountainous terrain in the dark. I would not recommend attempting it with a larger vehicle, as the road is likely unsuitable. The meals offered were very basic. Although described as an “American breakfast,” they fell far short of that expectation. Customer care was also disappointing; the manager lacked the professionalism and knowledge one would expect at a hotel. The most distressing part of our stay was the behavior of the hotel manager. On our second day, while we were out touring Kandy, he called us unexpectedly and launched into a verbal tirade with baseless accusations, claiming our room was untidy and that the towels were wet and unclean. He demanded that we check out immediately. We were shocked by this unprovoked attack and made the decision to leave as soon as we returned, as it was impossible to stay in such a to

“Lovely private stay”
+Very friendly and helpful manager and staff. They tried everything to make us feel comfortable and at home, from offering another room to pancakes for our kids for breakfast (including Dutch kids songs!). The pool was also very nice, definitely recommend staying there.
−Since it’s a bit up on the hill it will take you some time to get there but that wasn’t a problem for us.

“Exceptional”
+The spring Villas Kandy is very family friendly with hospitable staff and spacious rooms. The kids loved the pool which was clean and nice and the food was great too with a Sri Lankan touch to it. Highly recommend travelling with family.in cause if i go back to kandy for holidays with my family definitely i will book with them.

+The serene, jungle-like atmosphere and the peaceful surroundings were truly captivating. The pool area was a highlight, offering a relaxing spot to unwind. Additionally, the property being pet-friendly was a big plus, and the staff’s exceptional hospitality made the stay unforgettable.
−The only downside was the road leading to the property, which was under construction and a bit challenging to navigate. However, this is a temporary issue and didn’t affect our overall experience at the villa.
