“Not what we expected.”
+Pool and hot tub were both closed indefinitely. The room smelt weird. You could tell the whole place was rundown and dingy. We left 2 minutes after checking in and seeing the state of the place. For the price I didn’t expect much but it was worse. Booked the place in April and you can see the reviews have only gotten worse since then. Luckily Expedia was able to get our room refunded. We went to the La Quinta instead.

“Vermillion Inn - the worst experience”
+9 day trip. Broken faucet in room. I advised of this first day. Second day they came to check and said couldn't be fixed right away, to just use it gently. Had to wipe down counter before putting my stuff down since it was dirty. Advised them also on first day that bed was dirty. They didn't fix until next day. Towels were so threadbare I wouldn't have used them if I'd had a choice. No housekeeping service the whole time. I had to take my own trash out to the can in the front. I laughed with my friends and told them at least the water was clean and hot. I would not stay here again even if it meant sleeping in my truck.
“Never again.”
+When I arrived, the bathroom door was closed with the fan on. That seemed strange, but then when I saw that the bathroom had a cockroach, I wondered if they had sprayed something toxic in an attempt at eradication and were trying to air it out. I was too tired to ask for another room and since the booking company had said it was the last one available it seemed like a waste of time anyway. Carpet wasn’t very clean. Grounds were shabby and entire place was run down. Mattress, however, was comfortable, which is why I gave it two stars instead of one. Lots of noise from upstairs and outside. I didn’t go for breakfast but there was no seating inside the area where food was offered (the small lobby). And it was confusing (as was mentioned in another review that I unfortunately didn’t read until later) that the giant sign says “Rodeway Inn” instead of “Vermillion Inn.” I’ve had such terrible experiences at Rodeway Inns before that I would never have reserved this room had I known it was formerly a Rodeway property. Maybe others feel that way as well and that’s why they keep it a secret in their listing.

“Shabby Tired Hotel”
+We booked thru hotel.com under vermillion inn and confused that there is no sign with that hotel name. Checked in at 2am nite and no one in the receptionist. Good it had a sign to call a number or press a bell, and the reception appeared. We got a room for disabled. Room is shaby with all tired beddings and towels. Towels are so thin like it had been used thousands of times. The only good thing is the strong shower
“Watched the sunset from the pool”
+Clean rooms. Safe area. Kind staff. Walk to Main Street for dinner. Watch the sunset by the pool. It is really closer to three stars because it is older with glitches, but five star because they are thoughtful in the way they have taken this place on. I will stay here again.

“A disappointment”
+When we're booking a hotel for a trip, we're looking for three things: pool and hot tub, breakfast and economy pricing. In that order. We'll pay a little extra to get the first two. This place blew it. No pool, no hot tub, skimpy breakfast offerings. Skimpy in towels, too. Had to get the manager to fiddle with the TV to get it working. But, the manager was helpful and pleasant.
“Traveling through Utah”
+Comfortable beds, clean hotel, staff is very friendly. Also a short walk to downtown. Lots to see around here. And they have breakfast included. Unbeatable value. Would highly recommend. If you like the outdoors and hiking you could easily spend a week here.
+last minute availability options is great
+The bathroom was so dirty and they didn’t provide a clean towel.
+The cancelation notice was way early and I missed it with a priority activity. So I lost my money.
