“Relaxing. Friendly and helpful staff.”
+The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Delightful. They couldn't have been more helpful in giving advice about routes, how to get to places etc. Lovely breakfasts. Nice that they had a lounge for visitors to sit, with an honesty bar. The property is in an excellent position near to the station and on bus routes into the city.
−Room was a bit small but good to be able to sit in the lounge as above.

“Good value for Oxford - very clean room with good breakfast..”
+Nice; old fashioned hotel close to the station. Clean, comfy beds - slightly mismatched furniture but could not fault how clean it was and the lovely staff. I am not a tourist but noticed how staff were giving tips to tourists and helping people understand what was involved with a English Breakfast (served fresh from a menu so not buffet) Room at front - a little road noise but nothing much. Oxford is expensive and especially last minute but I was more the pleasantly surprised. Would have been 10 but the iron and board is bolted to the wall outside the room which was a little retro! (take a photo of the back door code - the front door was locked earlier than I expected and may catch you out if you think the rear 'night door' is only for post pub closing time!)
−Nothing really - but ironing in the corridor is not really for me!

“great location and breakfast”
“The River Hotel provided an excellent location and an excellent breakfast.”
+The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly. The location was good for getting to the sightseeing bus and exploring Oxford. We were glad to be on the main floor since there is no lift.
−Well, the beds could have been more comfortable. We chose two single beds as we did not think sharing a bed would be comfortable.

+Suurepärane inglise hommikusöök, väga maitsev. Armsad toad ja sõbralik personal. Asukoht samuti väga mugav, rongi- ja bussijaama lähedal ning keskusest lühikese jalutuskäigu kaugusel.
−Kui peab midagi välja tooma, siis dušist jooksis ainult tulikuum vesi, mida kuidagi jahedamaks ei saanud.

“Perfetto per visitare Oxford”
+Posizione perfetta in una zona molto tranquilla, albergo carinissimo e stanza comoda. Una menzione speciale per la colazione, veramente ottima la qualità del cibo e il servizio, promossissima.
−Il miglioramento che suggerisco è di illuminare un pò di più il parcheggio antistante l'hotel, perchè dopo una certa ora bisogna entrare da una porta che dà al parcheggio ed era troppo buio

“Overall good place to stay, close to the train station and center”
+Cosy and clean, got all necessary things. Breakfast was good but had to pay extra £12 as it was not part of our deal, which was fine. Parking was included which was handy.
−Our room was in the separate building from the hotel, just across the road from it. Bed was quite small double, and room on the smaller size too.

“Quaint English hotel with good amenities, great value”
+It’s very cozy and quaint. A lovely old building right next to the river. The breakfast room was very homey and it was lovely. I liked that there was a good carpark for my car. I thought it might be noisy, but the windows are double glazed, so it was actually quite quiet.
−It was a bit of a walk from the middle of Oxford where all of the landmarks are. There’s no lift, so I had to haul my suitcase up several flights of stairs on my own. The stairs also creak a bit when people go up and down.
