“Classic hotel experience in a very convenient location for Showgrounds events”
+The staff were spectacular, really lovely and friendly and helpful. The amenities are older but perfectly functional.
−There's a lot of ambient noise, but the hotel proactively provide earplugs in each room.

+I liked that it was just next to bus stops and not too far from Footscray station.
−The property and staff itself are okay, it’s the people that are outside around in the immediate area outside the hotel that give bad vibes (likely mental health issues??) and it can feel a touch sketchy in the later parts of the night

“Room was on the older side but very clean and the bed comfy.”

+Unfortunately, as it was a Monday night stay, when i arrived I found that there was no food available, so I had to go elsewhere for dinner. The staff member on the desk was lovely and very helpful. It would be good if there were automatic gates in the car park for extra security, as I leave early in the morning for work...
−I would have preferred to eat at the hotel, otherwise I didn't dislike anything else.
