“Décevant”
+L'emplacement dans le vieux Budapest
−Les photos sont trompeuses et je ne montre majoritairement que le restaurant qui ne fait pas partie de l'hôtel. On arrive dans un vieil immeuble, avec un hall peu accueillant puis on monte au 1er étage où se trouve l'hôtel. A l'accueil, il est annoncé que si on attribue 5etoiles sur Booking on a droit a 50% sur le tarif du trajet aéroport, ce qui explique certainement la note globale. La chambre, bien que très grande a bien vécue, il se mélange une armoire des années 80 avec une décoration baroque, assortie d'un vieux réfrigérateur. Les fenêtres cassées et réparées avec les moyen du bord. Le bruit de la rue malgré du double vitrage. En bref très decevant.

+I got what I expected, a good stay in a cool vibe and excellent location. The staff were especially nice, friendly and attentive 24/7 without issue.
−It takes a bit of maneuvering to slide the key through the door in the correct place since this is an old historical building, for someone who isn't used to these kind of doors. It's a nitpick, but I just have to mention it.

“Never again”

−How is this acceptable? When I arrived, I found that the room didn’t have a balcony, even though I had paid for a room with one. On top of that, there was a strange smell in the room, almost like mould. I couldn’t stay in those conditions, so I had no choice but to leave and book another hotel. I requested a refund, but the owner still hasn’t responded to any of my messages.

+Fantastic central location, just at the very edge of the old town. Beautiful old majestic building. The Dome Restaurant was spectacular and the food was superb! Very good value hotel in general.
−The room was quite comfortable but the noise from the street was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. Also on our second night there was very loud music and chatter coming from a function being held very near our room. It lasted until about 4 am!

−The facilities were terrible, broken toilet seat, musty/sewage smell in the room, no duvet, bed sheets ripped and old, no tea/coffee or cups supplied ( or available according to the staff) but a kettle was in the room?? There were no toiletries in the bathroom, bedroom furniture was mid matched cheap chipboard and the whole place was nothing like the images shown on the booking page. The lobby area was shabby and staff polite but unprofessional. Shouldn’t be 4 star, barely a 1 Star.
