+Lovely old building in its own grounds Nice large room Breakfast was lovely but could have done with some soft music as it was very quiet and you could hear everyone eating

+Nice period featured building. Breakfast was good.
−Spa facilities were awful, the steam room was not working, the pool, jacuzzi were outdated. The changing rooms were worst than public leisure centres.

“Charming building and friendly staff”

−Pull out bed for our daughter was really uncomfortable. Changing rooms at pool were in need of refurb and no privacy. Steam room not working. Overall feel of place is that it is tired and needs a bit of a refresh.

+Very old and dated hotel, could do with a little makeover! Most staff were lovely especially the evening Manager who went out of his way to accommodate us and make us welcome and feel special. The receptionist could do with a lot of customer service training, she was rude and unhelpful. The bed was lovely and comfortable and large and nice and quiet and warm. Could do with a makeover as really old and dated. Breakfast was ok....just ok!

−There were stains old stains on the top and underneath of the toilet seat, it was extremely dated and smelt old and dirty

“Warm, cosy, luxurious and the perfect place for an English stay!”
+Warm, cozy, and the most beautiful golf course I’ve seen! The pool and jacuzzi were a real highlight especially as it rained while we were there!
