“Would go there for food as it was amazing but would not stay overnight again”
+The breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked and very tasty. Lady on breakfast was very warm and friendly
−That there was no staff on site and that the fire alarms were not connected to the fire station. Was not shown fire exits on arrival. Felt apprehensive knowing there was no one there apart from a few other guests

+This is a great hotel, that was a perfect location for Attleborough and all the shops. It needs a bit of tlc, and I don't think it was good value. The bed was really comfy and I slept well. The selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits is probably the best I have ever seen. Cold milk in a little fridge, and water were all great !
−The room was cold. I don't mind that when going to bed, but had to keep my jacket on until that point. I tried to change the thermostat on the radiator, but that had no effect. I could not find the control for the towel holder in the bathroom to give some local heat. I could not find the isolator switch for the bathroom extractor fan. So I had to listen to that all night. It wasn't intrusive, but slightly annoying. I like to leave a light on ( bathroom in this case ), in case of emergencies. I noticed when I woke up there was a hole in the ceiling where a light fitting sort of fitted. When I woke in the morning, the radiator was red hot.

−The first room smelt of smoke as someone had smoked there illegally. Landlady was brilliant and apologetic and moved me to next room:

“A decent nights sleep”
+Lovely room, clean, great view, very welcoming staff, very comfortable bed.
−Price of breakfast very high indeed. Water pressure in toilet, bath and sink very low.

+there was no breakfast availible as the chef was on holiday but the manager did organise toast and tea
−we were very disappointed with the lack of facilitys regarding food although breakfast was advertised when we booked it was not availible
