“Pleasant and comfortable hotel”
+Very nice
−Not very light in bedroom and too few plug sockets
−Basic food
“Good location and staff friendly. Some areas need a little TLC and maybe better breakfast”
+Location for what we needed. Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was lovely Great music played.
−The chairs/sofas in the lobby and bar area are all very low and worn out. The carpets all look very tired and worn out. Lobby was very cold. Breakfast was nothing special

−The coffee machine which was also for hot water didn’t work. The receptionist said he would sort except there wasn’t a room to move us to, he didn’t know how to fix, the night manager on at 11 pm would be able to sort. At 11.20 there was no sign of a replacement or solution. No answer from calling reception. By 11.40 decided just to sleep. On check out I mentioned the issues etc, response was “thank you for letting us know, have a good day”!!! Gobsmacked But the trained staff knew how to close down a potential problem

“Tolerable.”
+The staff were attentive and charming.
−The hotel was gloomy with black décor, dark wood and dim lighting the outstanding features. The flickering lights in the dining area and background music matching the volume of conversations so was anything but background. The shower curtain did not shield the bathroom floor so the floor was quickly soaked. Bedroom lighting was so dim, desk and bedside lights were needed for reading. Other small matters added up to a view that the hotel should review its customer services.
+Rooms are ok. Quiet, bar area nice. Lady on reception was exceptional. I think it was value for money still even though it wasnt perfect but for £100 a night its worth it!
−Dont want to be nagative as we like the place its tge third stay for us.

“Perfect comfy stay”
+Lots of on site parking easy check in, friendly staff. Room was comfortable bed was big and comfy no traffic noise. ,
−Room a bit worn threadbare carpet and would have preferred a kettle than coffee machine
+The room was ok but tired with really worn carpets
−The lack of staff / breakfast area dirty, breakfast not availlable complaint made - no contact from reception manager poor apprentice left holding the forte no refund made as yet
