“No one cared”
+The location was good . The bedroom was on ground floor . Mattress was comfortable .
−The bedroom was very basic .The ensuite was still in the 1980s very tired looking . Didn't want to use the shower good job we only stayed for 2 nights . If you needed to exfoliate than the towels would of been ideal. , they were rock hard and so so rough think they were washed in starch and hung out to dry . No heating at all though out the building apart from a small radiator that was in the bedroom. The toilet in the ensuite was filthy it was stained from years of piddle. Couldn't even clean it there was no toilet brush to be seen . I sat on the toilet and looked around and l couldn't believe how the staff had allowed this bedroom to be rented out in this standard .No kettle in the bedroom you had to go in the lounge to make a tea or coffee . My husband is a diabetic they didn't have sweetener only sugar . The milk had run out in early evening, tried to find a member of staff seriously think they had all gone home and left us to it , so we didn't have milk for the evening 😕 , didn't see or get any milk until 8.30 am when a member of staff turned up to top up in the lounge. . The carpet in the building hadn't been hoovered for days ,and yet when we turned up the staff member was

“What a Shame”
+The girl who checked me in was lovely, and let me check in early.
−The shower leaked, no pressure, and the shower door was broken, so it had a shower curtain crudely hung up that stuck to you as you showered. No tea and coffee in the room, springy bed no bulb in main light had to use a lamp and little bed lights to see. They claim to be a family hotel but allow large groups to stay, and at 2.30 am, this morning, a couple of young lads proceeded to try to climb in people's windows because they lost their key card. Quite scary for a lady travelling alone, they then proceeded to hammer the front door down to get in and make a racket. I know you can't forsee peoples behaviour but don't allow large groups of young lads to stay in a " family hotel ". Unfortunately I wouldn't stay again. I couldn't give feedback this morning rather than on here because no one was at the reception desk. Shame for a nice historic hotel.

“There’s a lot that needs fixing.”
+Good black out curtain and heating. Receptionist girl was a great help and welcoming. When the bathroom door broke the manager’s response was fast Working TV and good public wifi. Breakfast was included.
−Flashing green light above the bed. Shouting in the car park 2:30 a, am has woke me up. It was scary as it happened right in front of our wimdow on the ground floor. The garden facing wall is soaking wet to the touch just right around the socket which is very dangerous .It is fire and electric shock hazard. Notice this issue late at night and stopped using that socket.

“Disappointing hotel.”
+Well located near town centre and clifftop. Quiet room.
−Very poor overall. No chair in the room, had to sit on the bed.. No heating, couldn't get the radiator to work. No tea or coffee making in the room, only downstairs in the lounge. Couldn't have breakfast until 9.00 am! Had to pay extra to park in the car park.
