+Stayed here previously and it never disappoints. Clean, comfortable and great location.

+The room was spotlessly clean and decorated with blue tones in a beachy vibe. There was a nice recliner in the room which was comfortable. The view of the promenade and the beach was beautiful, with a full length window facing the beach. Bathroom was clean and functional with good water pressure for the shower.
−The sliding door for the large window was very stiff and hard to open and close. There were no thick drapes to block the streetlights after dark so the room felt brighter than expected for sleeping.

+Wonderful old hotel with a wonderful view of the ocean.
−There is no elevator which makes it difficult for older people to go up to flights of stairs with luggage. There were no dressers in the room.
+Proximity to the boardwalk
−Mildew smell but I’m used to that. My biggest issue is the hotel needs to upgrade its aging window air conditioners. They are too small & don’t adequately cool the room during heatwaves (last year’s stay). The ceiling fans do help.
+Nice staff, clean room.
−Terrible lumpy mattress, thin pillows, tiny "deluxe" room, no amenities except fridge.
