“Kinda private but not in the room we stayed. Pick the dairy room if you want a bit of space.”
+Spacious and private, beautiful setting.
−We were in the log cabin which is at the very front of the property, and although private, you were reminded of other guests sharing a wall with you, you could hear everything, and whenever they turn on the water overnight the pump kicks in loudly. Also there wasn’t enough wifi to run the smart tv at all at night, so be prepared for that. Hosts, you need to turn the scalding temp setting of the hot water down, it’s way above code and very dangerous.
+The cabin was original and in the middle of nature. Beautifully decorated as well and with plenty of room.

“Tranquil Escape”
+The cabin was beautiful and far more spacious than the pictures showed. It was brilliantly well equipped. The location was great - just secluded enough for us to properly unwind, but close enough to Uki. We loved the outdoor bath and the friendly little magpie who came to say hello. The outdoor area was lovely and tranquil. Comfy bed, all the comforts while never losing its rustic flavour. Will definitely book again.
−Nothing! It was all great, although a dustpan and brush would be helpful.

−Zero water pressure in the upstairs shower. Downstairs a motor or pump was going for most of the night making it impossible to sleep so the people in that bedroom had to sleep on the sofa upstairs

+Gorgeous property, log cabin was cosy and bed was very comfy.
−Completely self check in and out is fine but no interaction with anyone from the property. Cookware and cutlery were dirty from previous guests so needed to rewash everything before use.

+The beautiful property. The responsiveness of owner. The cabin was comfortable and unique. The food hampers were great.

“Unfortunately the toilet smell ruined the property for us”
+The compost toilet was unfortunately so smelly it went through the whole cabin and ruined the good things about the property.
−Compost toilet smelled so bad. We couldn’t open the windows because it was winter and very cold, but having the windows closed meant the toilet smell went through the cabin. The toilet/shower has a gap at the top so the smell cannot be contained. It ruins what would otherwise be a great property. Maybe some room diffusers or something might help.
