+The bathroom was clean. There were water bottles and instant coffee. Everything in the sweet looked like it was clean.
−Whoever they got to do their renovations were second rate at best, and somehow they let that stuff pass. A lot of the architectural accoutrements were very poorly put together. Amateur work. I tried to plug the lamps in, in the only plug-in that was available on that entire wall, which was jammed back behind the box spring and Mattress which were on the floor not on a raised frame. Trying to push one of the plugins in and the outlet having no cover collapsed and shorted in my hands, sparking and blowing the breaker in the suite. This was in the dark in the middle of the night by the way. I could have been killed. The door doesn't close properly in the front, the window blinds are badly put together, everything smells like cigarettes, the windows don't close.

−Room wasn’t very clean. The window screens must have been broken because there were A LOT of bugs (earwig, spiders, mosquitoes and moths) mostly in the bathroom

“A lovely older motel offering a peaceful stay, and good value.”
+This sweet older motel is run by a caring family. Expansive green space makes for a peaceful stay. Rooms are clean and attractively decorated, and come with a kettle, coffee, bottled water, and real glasses and mugs.
“I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I am in the area.”
+Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are older and small but it was very clean and comfortable. We are happy with our stay.

+We did not stay as bookings.com made an error and double booked us. However, the owner John was very helpful and helped locate another place for us to stay. John was very upset that this happened and assured us that he would find us a place for the night and did just that. Thank you John for all you did... your customer service went above and beyond!!
