+I liked this location at the top of the hills, you have some places for quite walks with a good valley views. Staff of the hotel is friendly and ready to help with the requests, I liked the restaurant - the food was beautifully presented, and I really appreciated the attention to detail.

“A secluded antiquated property with an extremely caring manager”
+The manager was extremely kind and caring, went out of his way to have us satisfied. The area is serene & peaceful, the Villa has a nice garden surrounding. The huge room, while antiquated, is well maintained, ncludes a small fridge & an electrical kettle.
−An old British vacation home that was divided to several rooms. Located on a mountain, ~10min drive from Matale center. Although on a high mountain the view can't be seen. We were given a room that had an improvised shower & restroom built in it, which had serious mold and odor issues. We requested the manager & he gave us a bigger room that was fine.
