+We stay at this hotel a lot and love the location and friendly staff, plus the fact it’s dog friendly and easily accessible.
−This time wasn’t the best, the room had a few very neglected areas and the WiFi was none existent. Unfortunately there was also a power cut, which was beyond the hotels control but it wasn’t managed very well. Everyone knew the storm was coming and had plenty of time to be prepared, but there was no water, we were unable to flush the toilet and of course no cooked breakfast available despite paying extra. Refunds should have been given, but it was just chaos.

+Love this hotel for a little getaway and the chance to go to a quiet part of Ullswater at the back, with great grounds in general. Great for dogs and really friendly staff. We have stayed before and would again.

+Beautiful view from the garden, exceptional breakfast and absolutely lovely staff. A huge thank you for Monika who made us feel so welcome and to the reception staff for their professionalism. We wish every hotel had such a lovely staff. We will definitely be back soon ❤️

“Super friendly, comfortable hotel with breath-taking views”
+The greatest asset of Leeming House is its staff - every single person I came across was friendly, smiling and welcoming. In particular Az and Abbie in the restaurant and Basil on reception were outstanding. Our bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with a fabulous view over Ullswater that would be hard to beat. It also had a balcony which was such a pleasure. Dinner was superb - there was plenty of choice for someone who doesn't eat meat and original dishes rather than the usual tired fare like wild mushroom risotto.
−Breakfast was rather uninspired for the price, but I'm often disappointed by hotel breakfasts.

“Beautiful hotel with amazing staff”
+This is a beautiful property is sweeping grounds leading to the lake. I really enjoyed sitting by the water and relaxing. The hotel itself has a country house vibe and its greatest asset is its staff - every single person I came across was friendly, smiling and welcoming. In particular Az and Abbie in the restaurant and Basil on reception were outstanding. Our bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with a fabulous view over Ullswater that would be hard to beat. It also had a balcony which was such a pleasure. Dinner was superb - other reviewers have commented on the prices, but we ate at other nearby places and the prices were comparable.
