“I would only stay there again if there was not another option.”
+Location
−The customer service. The lack of helpful staff. The digitalized check in without clear instruction. The smell of the room. It smelled like wet carpet. The facilities are very dated.

“Very disappointing that you have to pay extra per night for a fridge and watch out for hard sales people working at the”
+Location was ideal being at the end of the strip and was very good value for money. Room was clean and spacious.
−Rooms (I booked 2 rooms as part of my reservation) do not come with fridges as standard. The fact you have to pay additional to rent a fridge is very poor. Also the person working at the tech shop put a hard sale on my 74 year year old mother to buy items she didn’t want or need. Tried to get a refund but was refused. Praying on the elderly is very poor practice which I find completely unacceptable

“Nice and would do it again”
+Easy to get to and lots of activities
−Didn’t like that we didn’t get a king as per our reservation and ended up with two queens for me and my wife

+Near the SupplySide Global at Mandalay Bay Hotel
−Old building, old furniture, and a carpet that isn't very clean.

+Staff friendly. Very close to where conference was being held. Printed our recipe which was good
−Check in was not great. Kiosk rejected my card which worked fine when I was diverted to desk with a person checking people in. I asked for printed receipt. Lucky I did as the link that the hotel sent me for an e-receipt doesn't work.

+Staff was exceptional
−Shower, was slippery. When we turn on the water foam started bubbling. Seems like wasnt clean and old soap was there. My mom sleeped in the shower. Lots of pink stuff was in the grout of the shower. Needs to be scrub.

“Ok, but far from good. I’d just recommend staying elsewhere honestly”
+The theming and ambiance of the resort was very nice
−You can tell the resort is aging. At 30+ years old it’s somewhat to be expected but when you look at similarly aged resorts on the strip, the Luxor seems to be aging quicker and less upkeep on it. The rooms left a lot to be desired and we’re probably top of the class 20+ years ago, but look largly unchanged since then and just extremely outdated. The check in experience is an absolute joke with everything being done electronically with your phone and dozens of employees staring at you, instead of the warm greeting of an actual employee welcoming you and checking you in. Overall, not the greatest of experience

“Decent, property was underkept. Its just smelly, and dirty. But the people are nice”
+Location
−Price for how outdated the property was.
