“Das Lou Calen in Cotignac ist immer eine Reise Wert, ein spezieller, wunderbarer Ort.”
+Cotignac ist ein hübsches, authentisches französisches Dorf und eine Reise wert. Das Hotel Lou Calen ist sehr charmant und verfügt über einen herrlichen, grossen Garten, auch die Pools sind sehr schön. Der Mix in unserem Zimmer aus charmantem Altbau und modernen Details hat uns sehr gut gefallen und die Betten war sehr bequem, nicht zu weich und nicht zu hart. Das Bistrot Restaurant hat sowohl drinnen als auch im Garten ein wunderbares Ambiente und man isst dort sehr gut. Das Lou Calen ist ein sehr spezieller Ort, den wir gerne wieder einmal besuchen werden.
−Aufgrund der Buchungslage wurden wir zuerst in einem Zimmer ausserhalb des Haupthauses einquartiert. Dieses Zimmer lag zwar wunderbar ruhig im Grünen, war uns aber einfach zu dunkel. Auf unsere Anfrage hin, konnten wir dann das Zimmer am nächsten Tag auf unser gebuchtes und gewünschtes Zimmer wechseln.

“Très beau mais un peu trop cher”
+L’emplacement est super et les jardins magnifiques. On est à la fois au cœur du village et en pleine verdure ! Les chambres sont très jolies et les espaces communs très agréables. Les restaurants sont très bien.
−La salle du petit déjeuner n’est pas climatisée et il y fait très chaud. Quelques petits défauts d’entretien sur le domaine. Même si les prestations sont excellentes et l’hôtel magnifique, je trouve que le rapport qualité / prix est discutable par rapport à d’autres hôtels proposant des prix comparables et que les chambres sont très chères.

+The location in the village is excellent - when you’re in the hotel or by the pool you have no idea you’re right in the heart of the village. Good food in the evening but…
−Breakfast was on the very simple / bland side - they need to improve this. Air conditioning is not great and was not strong enough to cool the room down - sadly hot nights. Rooms are not cleaned properly during the stay, however beds were made daily. We ran out of shower gel after the first night and this again was not replaced. I use the eco thing a little bit as an excuse for things that are not quite right. It’s is though a great place to stay and we did enjoy it. I’m sure with time they will polish the edges around what they are offering.

“Merveilleux!”
+Absolument tout, c’est de plus en plus rare de trouver en France des établissements qui attachent encore autant d importances au détails. Le domaine est magnifique, il y a plein d activités à faire, tout est bien pensé. Leur système de iPad - whatsapp et équipe tech est top. Les chambres super confortables. Le restaurant Jardin secret vaut vraiment le détour.
−J’ai juste eu un prob avec la Clim pendant deux jours mais ça arrive - ça n’a pas entaché mon expérience.
