“Clean, comfy, great central location”
+Great central location. Staff friendly & helpful Very comfy bed Breakfast wasn’t available, but plenty of cafes nearby
“Health and safety risk! Dirty and unorganised! Never again!”
+Nothing! The room was nothing like the pictures. The hygiene and health and safety were nowhere near acceptable.
−The fire door was screwed/bolted shut and broken. It was dirty and nothing like the pictures, hairs and dirt left in shower and bathroom, the communal area/fire escape was blocked with dirty laundry and an exercise bike which was there from when we arrived till we left the next day. No handrails to climb steep stairs the carpet was awful, ripped and dirty. Check in was embarrassing, checking out was non existent. To top it off we were given the wrong key to our room so on return from dinner we had our actual key left outside the door, thank goodness we didn’t leave any valuables inside.

“I did not get the room I paid for and have not received a refund for the downgrade of room.”
+It was a very central location.
−On the morning of the booking I received a phone call from the owner saying that the room I had booked had been double booked. That I could stay in a smaller room and would receive a refund of the difference. I have not received the refund in spite of the owner saying multiple times in messages that I would receive it soon. Additionally, the room wasn't clean. There were food stains on the non carpeted floor. Indicating that the floors weren't cleaned. There was damp and dried hair around the bins. One of the windows was broken with shards of glass still in the window. The windows didn't open and there was no airconditioning in the room. The communal garden area had planks of wood, and tools as if it was a construction site. And there were unused plates and serving dishes stacked up in areas around the 'garden' area.

+Excellent location, central in the town, shops, restaurants, near beach. The host, Danny was really nice, friendly, welcoming, happy to help and make stay special. Room was fab, big, comfortable bed, clean, toiletries provided. Outside seating. The bar and staff both great and had evening entertainment, which was a surprise. Definitely recommend and stay here again.
