“Overall I would stay here again.”
+The room was compact but comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
−During the evening and through the night there was intermittent corridor noise which disturbed my sleep. Couldn’t make up my mind if it was persons or pipe vibrating noise but it was quite loud.

+We know the Laichmoray well, we were married there 34 years ago but have only visited it to eat, until now. All the staff were all lovely. Our room was clean and lovely and warm when we arrived, it had been cold and wet so was very welcoming. We met up with family for a meal and we all enjoyed our food. I am gluten free and had several options for both nights. Really enjoyed the Cullen Skink. Breakfast was pre-ordered and again plenty of choice and ran like clockwork 😊
+I have used this hotel on many occasions and have always had a warm welcome and comfortable stay. Rooms are very well decorated. Breakfast is great

“Very clean and comfy”
+Staff all very friendly. Service was of a very high standard. Evening meals excellent quality and good value for money. A lovely stay in a very comfy hotel.

“Lovely staff and breakfast, disappointing room.”
+Staff were welcoming and friendly. Excellent breakfast.
−I did not like the room. The sink was over the toilet cistern, so I had to reach over the toilet to reach it. The bathroom was very narrow. There was a high up window in the room so it felt claustrophobic. It would have been much better being a single room with a bigger more usable bathroom.

−Feel breakfast menu could have given more choices on the form to let people know what was available e.g. types of fruit & yogharts available.

+Well run hotel with a traditional Scottish appearance. Comfortable rooms, nice restaurant and separate bar. Handy location near the centre of Elgin and half an hour from the Cairngorms.
−Doors and walls need sound-proofing.
+Friendly helpful staff , really clean room. Breakfast was good they even went to get some special rolls for us.
