“Unsatisfactory place to stay”
+Good location, very close to the Temple of the Tooth, and the staff are very friendly. But the rooms are old, and the ones facing the street are noisy. No hot water for showers. If you want a cheap place very close to the Temple of the Tooth, you can choose this one.

+Centrally located, with spacious, comfortable rooms, though without AC. Friendly and uncomplicated staff. A cheaper alternative if overnighting in Kandy. Nice cafe on the ground floor, selling excellent coffee and breakfast. Not cheap, but tasty.
−Most rooms face the street, which is a shrieking canyon of buses and cars. Bring earplugs, or try for a room at the back. The decor is a little worn, and the place could do with a refresh.

+I had a very big room for myself. It was fairly clean. Location is very central, you can walk everywhere. There is cafe just in the back patio.
−It was noisy from the early morning because my room was on the main street. Probably that's not the case for the rooms on the back court. I didn't think about asking to switch because I was not staying for a long time.
