−Abbiamo soggiornato in questo resort per cinque notti e purtroppo non ha soddisfatto al meglio le nostre aspettative. A differenza di altre strutture/lodge nei bellissimi parchi per i safari, al Jacaranda si percepisce - secondo il nostro punta di vista - ben poco lo spirito autentico del Kenya. Un resort popolato da italiani. - Pur essendo spaziosa, la camera aveva vari problemi di manutenzione e scarsa pulizia (nel bagno). Sicuramente non ci aspettavamo attenzione al dettaglio, ma almeno del sapone/shampoo come amenity nel bagno. Le tende non sono minimamente oscuranti. Nella nostra camera non prendeva la rete WiFi, la scusante del Guest Relations è stata che era troppo vicina ad un altro hotel. - Se desiderate un soggiorno di puro relax, non è il posto migliore. La nostra camera dava direttamente su una piscina ad uso comune, gli schiamazzi dei bambini all’ordine del giorno. Per non parlare della musica ad alto volume in tarda serata/notte che proviene dai resort vicini. Purtroppo non avevamo capito il target e la tipologia di animazione degli hotel di questa zona. - Il servizio ai ristoranti è buono e attento. +The experience at the Jacaranda Indian Ocean Beach Resort was extremely disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable. We arrived late at night due to flight overbooking and were immediately confronted with a very disturbing environment. There was a public festival nearby with extremely loud music and a crowd that felt unsafe. Both my son and I were explicitly warned not to use our phones outside, which is not something one expects when arriving at a resort hotel. The surroundings and the general atmosphere were deeply uncomfortable. Upon entering the hotel area, the first impression was of disorder and insecurity, giving the feeling of being in a poorly controlled area rather than in a holiday resort. At moments, the environment resembled a red-light district, which was shocking and completely inappropriate, especially as I was travelling with my family. There was no sense of tranquillity, safety or hospitality. We did not feel protected or at ease at any point during our short stay. As a result, we left the hotel early the next morning without even having breakfast. This hotel does not meet the basic standards of comfort, security or ambience expected from a resort. “There was a disconnect between reception and reservations - my extra night request wasn't processed!”
+Breakfast buffet was generous and good!! the coffee was well brewed though inconsistent in quality depending on the meal. The day meals were also good,
−The animators ignored the two kids we had and they had to seek assistance from guest relations desk (true activists those kids!!) to have access to the pool table or the other games available after being given the impression they needed to book. The Italian influence was quite clear but the African kids did not need to feel it!!
