−Very poor, horrible experience! The facilities are awful, the bathroom is so bad and old. Very expensive compared with the place. Doesn’t worth it.

+Very Good hotel I recommended, the area is with easy access to the airport and more from: Nsimba.
+A friend and I had an unscheduled longer than expected stop over in Luanda and decided to book a hotel room rather than brave quite a few hours in Luanda’s dreary international airport. The hotel is behind a tall wall and barbed wire, which gave us an indication of safety concerns in that part of town. The staff were friendly and helpful when we checked in. It was late and we wanted something to eat. The only option options were very basic sandwiches prepared by the receptionist and these were rather costly for what they were, so we opted to brave the streets and go in search of a local restaurant. We were escorted to the restaurant by the hotel’s security man, which was nice. We were to leave in the middle of the night, so I cannot comment on the breakfast served. The room was small, but clean. The furniture is dated and the whole hotel could do with an upgrade, but if you are looking for a place to crash for a day or two, this hotel might be an option. There are lots of street workers in the area, so be aware when going out. It is handy if you want to stay close to the airport, as it is a short 10 minute drive away.

“Stay was convenient for brief overnight stay, and also relatively cheap.”
+Flexibility of not paying upfront using credit card. Check in was smooth and Visa card was accepted. Breakfast though time was early enough for our departure could do with more variety. Availability of Wi-Fi was food.
−One of the staff members could not speak English. Being an international hotel it would be nice for porter to also speak english.
