+A lovely building in a fantastic location. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good with freshly made coffee and nice selection.
−We know Bergamo very well and have wanted to stay in this hotel for a long time but there had never been availability on the dates we were travelling. We have also eaten in the restaurant many times before and always been very happy with it. Something was just a little bit ‘off’ on this visit. The light in the bedroom didn’t work and this was explained but just shrugged off as if it wasn’t that important. At dinner there was a genuine mix up over our wine choice that resulted in us being over charged. It was resolved but it could have been handled with more courtesy. We also understood that a 10% discount should have been applied to our dinner bill but it wasn’t and we didn’t feel it appropriate to mention it. Overall, this was a hotel we were really looking forward to staying at but we were left feeling that it hadn’t quite lived up to expectations.

“Ideal location, great food and helpful and friendly staff - very highly recommended.”
+The room was very clean and well serviced. All of the staff were exceptional - courteous, friendly and very accommodating of our sundry requirements. The dinner and breakfasts were excellent.
−I don’t like the old style shower over the bath - it’s difficult to get in and out of the tub and the shower screen wasn’t water tight, so water leaked out and seeped onto the surrounding floor boards. I know that it’s an old property, but the bathroom/shower would benefit from an overhaul.
