−My friend and I stayed at Hyde Perth on the 2nd of October, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. During our stay, we ordered two drinks totalling approximately $50. After waiting over 40 minutes without receiving them, we had to leave and went downstairs to request a refund. The first bartender we spoke to informed us that we needed to speak with a manager. When the manager arrived, she explained that the refund would need to be requested through WhatsApp. We found this quite unprofessional, but we didn’t want to make a fuss, so we agreed. We were assured that we would receive confirmation of the refund. However, we never received any confirmation or our money back. Since then, we have contacted the hotel multiple times in an attempt to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, no one has seemed particularly interested in helping us. After several attempts to follow up, the manager eventually told us that she had no recollection of the situation and essentially couldn’t help us. For a hotel that charges premium prices, I find this level of customer service completely unacceptable. I’m not sure why the hotel would assume we would fabricate a story over $50, but we

“A new and trendy, aesthetically pleasing hotel with very comfy rooms in the heart of Perth CBD.”
+The hotel is located centrally in Perth CBD and convenient to restaurants and shops. The reception staff was efficient, attentive and very friendly. The hotel and rooms itself has a nice trendy aesthetic, comfortable, and great for our overnight stay.
−Only valet parking at the hotel and the drop off/pick area has only two car spaces infront of the lobby. The ala carte breakfast service can be improved for efficiency. Speaking from a hospo background, I felt for the floor staff needing to trek across the lobby to get food from the kitchen and back to serve at the bar lounge...Having said that brekkie was excellent though!

+Charming hotel with brand-new facilities. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious, spotless, and had an excellent shower. The hotel restaurant was excellent. On weekends, a DJ plays in the lounge, creating a really pleasant atmosphere for happy hour.Flávia, the manager, was very attentive, friendly, and welcoming.

+Good location
−Don’t get a poolside room, music is played from 6am until as late as 3am so you can’t open the door without constant noise. A DJ plays at weekends and even with door closed sleep is not an option!

−There were noises coming from another room it was quite annoying. A group of teenagers or there about were making noise. But I heard someone knock at their door for them to be quiet and they were quiet
