“Acceptable for one business night, but outdated rooms and facilities did not meet my expectations.”
+Hotel West is acceptable for a basic one-night stay, particularly for someone traveling on business who simply needs somewhere to sleep. Its forested location may appeal to guests who enjoy peaceful surroundings, nature, and walking trails. Although the location was unusual for me, I understand why others might appreciate it. The hotel is not unbearable, but my experience was below expectations.
−Please read carefully before booking Hotel West Bratislava. I booked through Booking.com, where the hotel had a rating of approximately 8.5/10. Despite its advertised 4-star classification, my experience was disappointing. Although reportedly built in 1996, the interior looks like something from the 1980s. The furniture, room design, and overall atmosphere feel outdated. Even in 1997, I believe this would have seemed old-fashioned. The television was also very small and outdated. The forested location is unusual and not particularly convenient for exploring central Bratislava. Some attractions are a medium distance away, while others require longer journeys. I decided not to try breakfast, so I cannot comment on its quality. I ate at Nivy Centrum instead, which I recommend. The high online ratings surprised me. I do not know whether every review is genuine, and I have no evidence that any are fake. Other guests may genuinely have had better experiences. One lesson I learned is to check at least three independent review websites, especially when booking an unfamiliar hotel or brand. “Úžasný les hned u hotelu. Bohatá snídaně. Doporučuji”
+Úžasné místo přímo bedle lesa. Super snídaně. Hned vedle super restaurace. Vrátili jsme se sem podruhé. Zařízení a nábytek jsou starší (odpovídají ceně za noc), ale místo, snídaně a personál jsou super.

+Sehr gutes Restaurant direkt im Hotel. Für Kinder gibt es in der Nähe ein riesigen Spielplatz mit Imbissbuden. Direkt am Wald gelegen, schön zum spazieren gehen. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Bratislava nicht weit weg
