“Great place to stay at Millinocket”
+The Hotel Terrace is a short walk from the local airport and also within walking distance of multiple restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a very enjoyable stay.

“Older property and a bit odd. Concerned about overnight security.”

−The property doors were left unlocked overnight and no staff around after 230 pm. Dark room. Looks like they are working on renovating
“Overall, compared to Millinocket’s other accommodations, Terrace Hotel deserves a 10.0 rating.”
+I rarely write reviews because, unless there are a large number of reviews, I feel they say are apt to reveal more about the about the “reviewer“ then the property they are reviewing. Moreover, if there are a large number of reviews, I don’t feel my opinion contributes much of anything, versus the consensus of opinions that has been expressed. However, although Hotel Terrace receives good reviews (i.e., 8.0 as of the writing of this review) I believe it deserves a substantially higher rating. 8.0 is a reasonable rating, only if you are comparing Hotel Terrace to four and five and five star properties that charge substantially more per night. Hotel Terrace is a small family owned hotel, which is maintained by the family, who obviously take pride in their hotel’s appearance and the quality of service that they provide to their guests. More specifically, First the “CONS”: * The exterior is… “uninspiring” and unrepresentative of the lodging within; * The appearance of the interior is somewhat dated, but NOT in need of repair, or replacement; * Hotel Terrace does not currently have a restaurant. As you face the front door, the right side of the building had been a restaurant, which had

+April was amazing!... I was traveling from 10hrs away with my family and wouldnt be arriving until after 2am; April made sure to communicate with me through every step of the reservation, and room accommodation. When we arrived, getting into the hotel, and accessing our rooms was as easy as pie! April made our stay experience easy!

+L’emplacement, un bon point de départ pour visiter les Appalaches ou Baxter Park

+Room was clean.
−Bathroom needed a few updates. A/c button was broken so couldn’t control temp. Property could definitely use some attention. I realize the restaurant is closed but they should dispose of some of the equipment sitting outside. We sat at the picnic table out back and had a cocktail because nothing was open when we arrived. It wasn’t pretty. Could use a nice outside area to relax. The hotel is on a very busy loud street. The bottle recycling is right across the street and the scrap metal and dump is down the street. Starts very early in the morning. If you want a nice quiet place I wouldn’t recommend it.

“Great for a one-night stay in Millinocket.”
+We found the room to be clean and comfortable. Obviously there aren’t many options when staying in the area, but parking and the overall location was great.
−From the outside, this place looks a little sketchy and desolate. As others have mentioned, there is only a doorknob lock on the door. I might not pick this place if I was traveling alone.
