“Da ich nur auf der Durchreise war, hat mich Trieste neugierig gemacht.”
+Gute Lage zwischen Hauptbahnhof und der Gastronomie am Kanal. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Ein Hotel wie ich es aus der Vergangenheit kenne, mit gefüllter Minibar (haben ja viele Hotels nicht mehr).
−Das Kunstwerk an der Wand fand ich etwas gruslig.

+O hotel é bem bonito por dentro, bem localizado, o quarto é bem confortável e grande. Tivemos uma ótima estadia.
−No quarto em que ficamos (no último andar) havia uma parte em que o teto era mais baixo (faz parte do designa do quarto). Minha esposa não teve problema, mas como eu sou mais alto, bati a cabeça 2 vezes acidentalmente.

“Ein gutes Hotel für ein paar Tage Triest”
+Die Lage ist recht nah am Zentrum und Bahnhof. Die Zimmer sind gross, ziemlich dunkel eingerichtet und im obersten Stock nur kleine Fenster oben unter dem Dach. Das Frühstück ist gut. Das Personal freundlich.

+Que estaba cerca tanto de la estación de tren/bus como de la parte centro de la ciudad. El personal muy simpático y dispuesto a ayudar. Especial agradecimiento a las chicas de la cafetería de parte de la pareja de la leche caliente y el cacao en polvo!

−Disappointing experience , Far below four-star standards Our stay at Hotel Solun was extremely disappointing, particularly for a property that advertises itself as a four-star hotel. The heating in our room was not working. When we complained at reception, we were told that the hotel's climate control system should already have been switched from cooling to heating, but that this had not yet been done. Apparently, the change might take place the following day , precisely when we were checking out. In other words, no solution was offered during our stay. Even more astonishing was the response when we reported that the bathroom heating was also not functioning. The receptionist simply stated that, unfortunately, the heating does not work in some rooms. Is this really an acceptable response from a four-star hotel? The hotel is apparently aware of these problems, yet guests are expected to accept them without any practical solution. The bathroom had additional maintenance issues. The shower water pressure was weak, making showering less comfortable than it should be. Furthermore, the toilet flush would occasionally get stuck, leaving water running continuously.
