“Friendly Medieval Home with Top Location”
+The staff is lovely especially our concierge Marta. Marta is so kind and helpful and always smiling. She puts out a good breakfast every morning: meats and cheese, homemade fruit pastries, and any kind of coffee you like from the cappuccino machine. Marta can also help you call taxis. We loved the "feel" of the hotel which is like a medieval home. You can open heavy wooden windows in the breakfast room and in your room for a breeze and to hear the church bells and chatter on the street below. There is a shared refrigerator which we used and plenty of bottled water. No safe in the rooms but we didn't need one, we felt quite safe and secure. The location is fantastic, just steps from the grand three-level Basilica of St. Francis. Toward the basilica is a corner restaurant with beautiful sunset views of the basilica (go by 6:00 p.m. for an outside table) Down the street in the other direction are more restaurants and gelato shops. And many more in nearby Piazza del Commune. From the hotel, it's a short walk to the St. John Paul II Piazza bus plaza. Buses leave there to and from St. Mary of the Angels in the valley containing Saint Francis's Porziuncola, as well as to and from San Dami
−We loved it, but you might not like the stairs. There is no elevator. The outdoor stairs in front are a bit steep but they have a sturdy handrail and a view of the basilica.This is not a resort. The only amenities in the rooms are toilet paper, soap, nice fluffy towels, and a TV. Plenty of hot water and a great shower. One can stay in a resort anywhere and not know what city it is. After staying at Hotel Properzio, we knew we had been in the heart of St. Francis' Assisi.

+Atendimento excelente, quando em horário de atendimento (normalmente 8 as 11). Local muito bom, próximo a basilica.
−Hotel nao tem recepcionista o tempo todo. O que nao foi informado, e pode dificultar a entrada de pessoas com mais dificuldade à tecnologias. Mas apesar disso disso enviaram as informações com antecedência e nao tivemos problemas.

+La posizione è fantastica praticamente è a 100/200 mt dalla Basilica di San Francesco i proprietari sono molto disponibili e accoglienti gentilissimi le camere seppur piccoline pulite e munite di tutto 💯.
−Per chi non può fare le scale lo eviterei 😏. Prossima volta prenoterò senza prima colazione non mi è piaciuta per il resto lo consiglio come già detto
