“Pleasant overnight stay”
+Quiet, clean comfortable. Excellent tasty breakfast, smiling staff
−The insistence we were on room only rates and not bnb when we had already pointed out the booking receipt was incorrect. and we were bnb Resolved eventually when manageres contacted Types of food offered for evening meal did not include anything light. We asked for soup but it was not on set menu. Happily resolved by waitress agreeing to make some for us.

“Keine Empfehlung! Sauberkeit wird dort nicht groß geschrieben.”
+Das Zimmer bzw. die Suite war ganz ok. Der erste Eindruck war zufriedenstellend. Das Doppelbett im Masterbedroom war sehr bequem, eine feste Matratze. Ein begehbarer Kleiderschrank mit großen Spiegeln war vorhanden. Es gab eine Dachterasse, die man im Sommer sicher toll nutzen kann. Beim Frühstück gab es kein Buffet, was für mich neu aber durchaus angenehm war. Man konnte verschiedene Menüs bestellen und das auch in verschiedenen Variationen. Es gab jeden Tag 4 neue Wasserflaschen für 2 Personen.
−Das zweite Schlafzimmer hatte kein Fenster und keine Heizung. Die Dielen im gesamten Zimmer sind durchweg alt und knarren sehr laut bis in die kleinste Ecke. Das Fenster im Masterbedroom roch schimmlig. Das Rollo ließ sich nicht öffnen. Mit all dem hätte ich durchaus leben können, aber die Gegebenheiten im Frühstücksraum haben uns schwer enttäuscht. Die Saftgläser waren klebrig und teilweise waren sogar noch Lippenstiftspuren zu sehen und das leider an allen Tagen, trotz freundlichen Hinweis unsererseits. Mit dem Besteck verhielt es sich ebenso. Leider haben sie sich keine Mühe gegeben, das zu verbessern. Einen Tag vor unserer Abreise hat das Personal es auch nicht mehr für nötig gehalten, das Zimmer zu reinigen. Die Bettdecken waren lustlos aufs Bett geworfen. Der Müll im Bad zwar geleert aber eine neue Tüte fehlte. Lediglich die Wasserflaschen wurden aufgefüllt.

“Did not live up to expectations”
+Friendly staff , comfortable room have stayed in better for cost , brilliant location the hotel beautifully decorated in keeping with age of property
−Breakfast 1 member of staff on to serve breakfast for a full restaurant she did well , coffee machine not working properly or I could not work it neither could other people but did not want to bother the poor lady who was rushed off her feet . Quality of breakfast poor, bacon looked boiled not nice no toast you had to order this separate / or was not asked did not know did not want to bother the poor lady serving . Went to check out .Only person on lady in restaurant according to the housekeeping ladies I spoke to they could not find anyone else . Luckily I had paid for room , I had requested a bottle of bubbly in room which was there nice and cold on arrival so needed to pay for this , we would have had a long wait so had to leave as had to get somewhere else, now waiting for the bill . Shame as if the breakfast had been good and someone on reception to check you had a good stay ,would definitely have stayed again
