“Wonderful staff, beautiful hotel, and a great part of town.”
+The hotel is a charming gem in the middle of town with friendly staff. Parking is right next door (public garage) for free.
−My room unfortunately was accross the street from the super loud bar that didnt close until sometime after 2am or so. Thumping music, so I would have preferred to stay towards the front of the hotel or garage side.

“Great location, room mix up, slow breakfast”
+The downtown location is awesome. I parked in the parking garage next to the hotel and could walk to shops and restaurants. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Large mini frig in room. Voucher for $15 off food was nice.
−My 1st room key did not work, so I went back down the elevator and she made me new keys. This time they worked but I walked into someone else's room. I went back down the elevator and asked for MY room and new keys. They were confused and scrambling to figure out what they had done wrong. While they apologized they were still a little snarky about the whole thing. The elevator doors would open and close constantly and we could not get to our floor. In the morning we had a meeting to get to so we ordered toast, fruit and bacon in the restaurant. After waiting 45 minutes we asked for it to go and we were late to our meeting. The cooks were in no hurry and everyone was moving so slowly.

“Would recommend this hotel.”
+Beautiful hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Very friendly and helpful reception at check-in. Comfortable room and beds/linens. Nice restaurant with good service.
−Staff in the morning were involved with each other and never acknowledged us until we stood in front of them several minutes. Would love to have had fresh coffee at 7:00; had to go to coffee shop nearby.

“A Gem of a Hotel!”
+My husband and I have enjoyed many wonderful stays at the Hotel Diamond! The Hotel Diamond is a gem! The staff is very professional, accommodating, friendly and helpful. The rooms are well-appointed, comfortable and very clean! I love the high-end products that are provided! The soaps and lotions, robes and linens are wonderfully luxurious! The beds are extraordinarily comfortable! The overall feel of the hotel is very welcoming and inviting. The bar is awesome, it has a great ambiance! We enjoy the restaurant as well. We always have a fabulous stay at the Hotel Diamond! We love the location of the Hotel Diamond, it is in the heart of the town, and it is extremely walk-able to restaurants, parks and all that Chico has to offer! The Hotel Diamond stands out as being one of the greatest treasures of the town!

+I've travelled on business to Chico for 3 years and Hotel Diamond is a premier class hotel. Well located and consistently excellent service in all areas. Rooms are always clean and food and beverage service are top notch as well as hotel staff. Highly recommend.

“Hotel Diamond is a Wonderful Choice”
+I’ve stayed at Hotel Diamond more than 10 times, and it’s the only place I stay whenever I’m in Chico. It truly feels like a home away from home. The hotel has so much charm, the rooms are always comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better. What keeps me coming back, though, is the incredible staff. They are consistently warm, welcoming, and go out of their way to make every stay special. After so many visits, I can honestly say the quality and service have remained exceptional. It’s rare to find a hotel that’s this consistent. If you’re looking for the best place to stay in Chico, I can’t recommend Hotel Diamond highly enough. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
