“Good stop for Shuttle - No restaurant food on Sunday.”
+Good place to stay before taking the Shuttle Train to England. Decor in the new building was good - They should use the carpet and colour scheme in the main reception rooms in the chateau.
−Our room smelt a bit strange. Would have like to be able to open a window however as ground floor was not possible. The pool is very strange too with a ledge at one end making it difficult to do lengths. The grill is only open in the winter which was disappointing as was looking forward to trying it.

+Room was damp and leaked when it rained, all my clothes in the wardrobe were wet and we had to move rooms twice during our stay

+Nous avons adoré le cadre du château de Tilques. Le château et ses dépendances, entourés d'arbres superbes et de verdure, sont magnifiques. C'est un régal, dans tous les sens du terme, de prendre son dîner ou son petit-déjeuner avec vue sur le château. La piscine dans son cadre lumineux est très agréable, tout comme le vaste salon où l'on peut siroter une boisson, confortablement installé dans un fauteuil moelleux, en lisant ou en jouant à un jeu de société. Le personnel de l'hôtel est super accueillant et serviable.
−L'insonorisation un peu faible des chambres et le système de ventilation automatique peuvent challenger les nuits de ceux qui ont le sommeil léger.

“Good location for Eurotunnel”
+Ideally located within 45 minutes from Eurotunnel this iconic Chateau has a grandiose appearance and is set in its own spacious grounds. The staff ore very welcoming and helpful. We pre-booked dinner and were not disappointed. Our room was not particularly specious but it provided for all our needs and there was an en-suite bathroom. Being on the ground floor meant easy access to the rest of the buildings facilities. This will now be our place to stay when returning to the UK from holiday further south in France.
